8 designers in the hunt for the PFW Lifestyle Innovation Award

Pupstyle.com is proud to announce the finalists for this year’s PFW Lifestyle Innovation Award. Eight finalists were narrowed down from 35 entries in the featured category of “Pet Dinnerware”. Our own Pet Design Expert Dara Foster commented on being one of the first round judges – “This was a tough decision with so many strong entrants – but with an eye towards Innovative design I think we made the right choices.” The competition next moves to New York City with the finalists being displayed and judged at the upcoming Pet Fashion Week New York (Aug 23-24). “I think the PFW Lifestyle Innovation Award is a long overdue prescription for moving the pet industry forward. It raises the design bar – moving away from stainless steel bowls to functional works of art.” The finalists (in no particular order) include:

  • Victor Lee of Alpha Paw
  • Velissa Van Scoyoc for Vivid Product Design
  • Jane Grant of HugX and Justin Magee & Stephen McGilloway of Bigsmall
  • Jed Crystal of Hepper
  • Mirian Mirri for Alessi
  • Kevin Thomas for Kevy K Designs
  • Catherine & Stephen Simms for Whiner & Diner
  • J. Martin, Suzie McCormick, Ryan Hahn,Katie Killingsworth & Jeff Walker for Unleashed Life
