$30,000 Samsung Dream Dog House at Crufts

Last month, Samsung unveiled the ultimate, high-tech dog house of the future to high-light their sponsorship at Crufts 2015 for $30,000. Buckle up for this one PupStylers!

The Samsung Dream Dog House canine capsule comes complete with it’s own hot tub—yes, hot tub for so your dog can soak it’s overly stressed muscles.

A Samsung tablet for keeping up with all of Rover’s TV shows and updating social media.

Automated one-touch dog feeder so Rover can eat on command simply with the press of a paw.

Custom printed wall paper complete with dog imagery to keep him company.

Samsung surveyed 1500 dog owners and a quarter of them admitted they wanted their dog to have a treadmill and TV or tablet. %64 of the survey felt their dog would benefit from more technology. WOW!

It’s no surprise that Samsung is pushing full steam ahead expanding into he pet market. I love my Samsung Scout Pet Cam for spying on my dog from my smart phone. Keep up the good work Samsung!

International Vintage Fabrics Turned Into Dog Beds

PupStyle readers know a dog bed is meant to be a home furnishings accessory, not just a eye sore in the corner of a room.

Vintage White Elephant is a new New Jersey based business making one of a kind handcrafted dog beds out of mostly vintage fabrics found from from elegant and exotic locations from Paris to Nepal.

These are investment pieces meant to be an elegant conversation piece to accent your home interior. Think about one design for your bedroom and another for your family and dining rooms.

The unique fringe used in these designs really caught my eye. I also appreciate the shabby-chic meets international vibe. The use of various prints and colors keeps the eye moving and the design interesting.

The bed covers have already been pre-washed so no worries about any shrinking next time you toss it in the wash and it also has a protective vinyl inside cover to protect the down or alternative insert from and liquid messes. sweet!

Given these are one-of-a-kind pieces, and each is made by hand (no factory line for these beauties) and the time it takes to select the fabrics, these are really special designed to be admired. Great Job Vintage White Elephant! The “Cherry’s On Top” design above is $275. Not bad for so much TLC put into a dog bed.

Super Model Kathy Ireland Talking Pet Products at Global Pet Expo

It’s that time of year again when pet industry players from around the world gather at the annual Global Pet Expo in Orlando Florida from March 4-6, 2015 to scope out the latest and greatest products in the pet industry.

Super business woman and model Kathy Ireland will be returning to Global Pet Expo again this year as guest speaker at the AAPA’s PWN breakfast March, 6 2015 from 7:30-8:45 AM.

That’s one hour and fifteen minutes of full-on Kathy! Go girl!

Last year, Kathy launched her own pet product line with a huge emphasis on style and design.

Her beautiful patterns are modern yet also timeless at the same time. I especially love her Chevron print bed and pink floral reversible travel mat.

We are excited to find out what Kathy thinks about being part of the amazing pet world as she embarks on year two of her product launch.

Etsy.com is one of my go-to treasure troves of new talent in all things design and dog. CollageOrama store on Easy.com offers

a really cool selection of dog illustration art printed on upcycled dictionary pages. All things art on old book pages are a hot interior home design trend, but I almost had a cute-attack when I saw this Admiral Wheels the Steampunk Corgi dog print.

Special needs dogs are beginning to get the attention they deserve and this is just another example of who the awareness trend continues to grow. YAY!!
